Taylor Swift headlined at NRG Stadium in Houston on April 21st, 2023 with support from beabadoobee, and Gracie Abrams on the Eras Tour presented by Capitol One! This was the first night of her sold out three night run of performances. 

Taylor Alison Swift is an American singer-songwriter from West Reading, Pennsylvania who started in 2004. She was the first female country artist to write a U.S. platinum album with her self titled debut album in 2006!

She performed for more than three hours with a massive 44 song setlist spanning from all of her eras! The show was divided into ten unique segments. Capitol One provided every fan with light up wristbands that synchronized with each other depending on where you were located in the stadium. It was truly remarkable to see! The stadium was filled with her dedicated fans (Swifties) singing every word in harmony. When she spoke to the crowd the fan’s screams were deafening! The pop icon’s performance included visual art, dancers, props, plumes of smoke, and pyrotechnics. The amount of work her team put into the sets, choreography, lighting, sound, and costumes did not go unnoticed! This tour was by far one of the largest and most memorable tours to date.

She’s the first artist to play three straight shows inside the stadium. The crowd was estimated at 62,690!

Taylor Swift exclaimed:

We’ve been playing for you for nearly twenty years! You always treat us so nice. You treat us like it’s my mom’s hometown, which it is! You treat us like this is where my parents got married, which it is.

She also stated:

The wristbands make you look like the galaxy, but also it helps me see you! Those of you at the top, don’t think I can’t see you.
