Static-X: Rise of the Machine Tour Comes To Houston

Static-X headlined a SOLD OUT show at House of Blues in Houston on March 12th, 2023 with support from Fear FactoryMushroomhead, Dope, and Society 1 on their Rise of the Machine tour!

The American industrial metal band originates from Los Angeles, California and was formed in 1994. The band’s current lineup consists of lead guitarist/keyboardist/programmer Koichi Fukuda, rhythm guitarist/lead vocalist Xer0, drummer Ken Jay, and bassist/backing vocalist Tony Campos.

The band played classic hits such as “I’m With Stupid”, “Bled For Days“, and “Dirthouse“. They started their set with “Permanence” where they brought out a riser for Xer0 to showcase his new mask and costume! This Terminator-Esque costume was designed by Eddie Yang, a notable costume designer whose work has been featured in big name movies such as “Iron Man“, “The Dark Knight Rises“, “Man of Steel“, and “Men In Black“. Once “Cold” began they brought the riser back for Xer0 and it started snowing confetti! They concluded their set with massive hit “Push It”. This tour was dedicated to their late vocalist and “Evil Disco” icon Wayne Static!
