Randy Houser brought his tour to The Wildcatter saloon in Katy, Texas just ahead of the release of his sixth studio album Note To Self set for release Nov. 11. The release of the single “Note To Self” marks the first new music from Randy since 2019. He gave fans a little preview of the new album performing his newly released single “Rub A Little Dirt On It” along with “Still that Cowboy” which was written for his expecting wife. Randy’s vocals are a perfect mix of country with just a hint of Mississippi Blues that helps him stand out among the ever growing field of country artist.
Opening the show was local artist Tilluride who were extremely impressive with their renditions of “Lovin’ You” by Luke Combs along with “Simple Man” by Lynard Skynyrd, Jason Aldean’s “She’s County” and teasing the audience with a small sample of Sound Garden and Led Zepplin . Along the way they mixed in a few originals which proved worthy of their place in the set and closed the show with party anthem “Drink Drank Drunk”
